A Seat at the Table: Lume x Club Hotplates

Club Hotplates is a monthly Brisbane supper club run by Lomani — a themed dinner for a table of around 25 women, built on good food, a curated menu, and a proper space to connect. For their first ever edition, styled in burgundy, deep green, silk and lace, we sent bottles of Lume Botanical Gin along for the night.

Lume Botanical Gin was the base for Club Hotplates' Gin Martini — the room's favourite, by their own account — alongside a gin and grapefruit cocktail that Lomani also mentioned as a hit on the night.

A shared spread to start, two mains, and tiramisu to finish.

We weren't in the room for this one — the bottles did the travelling, Club Hotplates' team did the pouring. Lomani sent this through afterwards:

"The event went amazingly well! All the girls had such a lovely time and really enjoyed the gin cocktails, especially the gin and grapefruit cocktails. For me personally, it was so beautiful seeing so many women come together in one room, connected by a shared love of conversation, good food, beautiful tablescapes and, of course, good drinks. I'm so grateful to have had Lume Gin be a part of the experience and help bring the event to life. For our very first event, I was honestly beyond grateful for how beautifully everything came together and for everyone who came along and made it so special."
